Reindeer Roundup
We were recently invited to a "Reindeer Roundup" party for the kids. The home owners use branches from Palmetto palms then paint them different colors, even collegiate ones. The kids are given lassos and they try to lasso in their favorite. Then, they went to craft tables and decorated their reindeer. There was a bounce house and even Santa stopped by. The family asked for donations for a local animal shelter instead of food or drinks. We had a wonderful time and helped a great cause.

Visit to see Santa
Last night we made our annual trip to the "mall" to see Santa. We also had our letters ready to drop off at the Macy's Mailbox! The girls thought Santa's beard was too short. We tried to explain it was his REAL beard, but to no avail, they said they prefer a fuller beard. Their outfits were pieced together from an array of stores, Kohl's, Justice, Target and Crew Cuts. Momma likes a bargain!

Beautiful Blog
There is a blog I adore and read every day. It is House of Turquoise and it's absolutely fabulous. Erin is the author and she lives in Minneapolis. She always posts the most beautiful, sunny and colorful locations and homes I've ever seen. Check her out! The image above is from her latest post.
Ski Team? No Tennis!
So I play on a tennis team. It is a beginner league and loads of fun. Our season started in August when it was HOT, HOT, HOT. Today it was 30 degrees outside and very windy. We just don't have clothes that are appropriate for this weather. So I layered like an onion, two pairs of pants, three shirts, a ski jacket and thick socks. It was quite funny to see the rest of the team also!
So here are the before freezing temps and after! Our team captain is in red and blue in the front. She is actually wearing her husbands' clothes!

Christmas Card Photo Shoot
We had lots of fun last weekend taking a few pictures for our Christmas Card this year. I had told them my idea to get in the fountain and have fun. So I went ready with towels, even our dog got in the action. I bought their dresses at Lilly Pulitzer. The ribbon belt on Sofia is from JCrew.

Daddy-Daughter Dance
This year the theme was masquerade ball. They were very excited to pick out masks. It took us three trips to costume stores to find the right ones. I found the dresses at local TJ Maxx store. I bought them during the holidays but knew they would work with the masquerade theme. Daddy said once they got to the ball they had them on for five minutes...
